Do you offer sessions online or in-person?

We offer in-person tutoring for students in New York City, and virtual tutoring anywhere. Depending on your student’s needs, we can work in-person, online, or a hybrid of both.

Do you help families decide between the SAT and ACT?

Yes. We will guide you through a personalized assessment to determine whether the SAT or ACT is right for your student. By evaluating how each exam's format, content, and structure match your student's academic strengths, test-taking style, and college goals, we'll help you make the strategic choice that gives them the greatest advantage. We will take into account:

  • Our discussion of your student’s study habits and academic strengths and challenges

  • Our assessment of your student’s learning style after working directly with them

  • The results of your student’s diagnostic exam of both the SAT and ACT. We require a diagnostic exam in one or both tests within the first two weeks of working together.

Do you offer subject tutoring and test prep at the same time?

Yes! We work with students in subject material and test prep concurrently. We adjust test prep based on students’ workload in school and extracurricular schedule, to allow them to reach their full potential — without burnout.
